Article 51 – Paragraph 2

2. Where the processing of personal data takes place in the context of the activities of an establishment of a controller or a processor in the Union, and Regulation applies by virtue of Article 3(1), the competent supervisory authority will be the supervisory authority of the Member State or territory where the main establishment of the controller or processor subject to the Regulation is established in more than one Member State, the supervisory authority of the main establishment of the controller or processor shall be competent for the supervision of the processing activities of the controller or the processor in all Member States, without prejudice to the provisions of Chapter VII of this Regulation.. Disputes should be decided upon in accordance with the consistency mechanism set out in article 58, and this without prejudice to the other provisions of Chapter VII of this Regulation. This provision also apply for legal entities of a group of undertakings, where these undertakings are located in more than one Member State.
